LEANDER KALIL


Matthew Leander Kalil is an interdisciplinary artist whose work moves through text, sound, figure, space, and image. 

He studied Philosophy (BA) at The New School and Architecture (M.Arch) at The University of Toronto.

Leander’s work has been supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.

He has worked at Office of Adrian Phiffer, is a researcher and editor at the Canadian Centre for Architecture.

He lives in Montréal.

Two Crowns


2023
These crowns are made of aluminium, hand cut and sanded.
They represent the first pieces in an ongoing project of making crowns.
